Abby

Abby is a one year old, female, tan and white Basenji/Terrier mix. She is current on vaccinations, has been spayed and microchipped. Abby is also house broken, and being crate and leash trained. Abby is very sweet and likes to cuddle but has had little socialization with people due to her previous situation so we are working to train her.

She has adapted to living in a home quite well and is learning to obey commands quickly and to not rough house with people. Abby gets along well with other dogs, but not cats. She has done well around our toddler so far, but we have been advised to find her a home with no children or older children, as she has a strong prey drive.

Abby will need more training and lots of exercise. In the short time that we have had her, Abby has learned to "sit" "stay" and she will come to you when you whistle for her. She seems to want to please her human family and respects our boundaries, such as a baby gate we have had up since she got here. Abby is an easy- going, playful, sweet girl who wants to be involved in everything and will give you a lot of love.
