Rocco

Rocco is a gorgeous 1-1/2 year Basenji mix. He is extremely playful and full of energy. A fenced yard is a must, he loves to run and play in the yard.! He'll need to be on leash when not in the yard, he walks okay on the leash, but needs a bit more work. Rocco has had no formal training but does respond very well to verbal command: sit, stay, come....

Rocco LOVES people, he loves to sleep and cuddle with his human. Rocco needs a home with lots of attention, love and activity, otherwise he tends to get into mischief when bored. His characteristics are more Basenji-like than the Border Collie he is most likely part.... but he does like to herd other dogs. He's very cat-like when playing, and is also very rambunctious when playing. So, probably not best for young children due to his rough play. Rocco does better with female dogs rather than other males. Do not know how he responds to cats.
