Bobbi
Hi, my name is Bobbi. I’m a one-year-old experiencing the
joys of living in a home for the first time. Even though I have some outside
scars, the most noticeable being my bobbed tail, you won’t be able to resist
my charm. I'm eager to learn about my new world and I love to be petted and
played with. I’m an excellent counter surfer and I'll take care of anything
you drop while you cook. I’m really hoping my new home has another dog that
will join me in my passion of pouncing on stuffed toys and tossing them in
the air.
Notes from foster mom: Bobbi has a great baroo when she
gets excited, and she loves to be rubbed and touched all over. She does not
mind being moved but is a bit skittish and startles easily with loud noises
or fast movements. She is very playful and loves to chase anything that
moves. Bobbi is not food aggressive or possessive of toys and she does not
resist if you take them away. Her new home could have an older child who is
gentle. She plays with younger children in her foster home and when they get
too rowdy or she has had enough, she will retreat to the security of her
open crate. At night, Bobbi sleeps in her crate as her foster sister refuses
to share the bed. She kennels easily, especially if bribed with a treat, and
has not attempted to destroy the soft dog bed in her crate.
Bobbi was rescued from a commercial breeder where her
whole life was a tiny pen, but she is a resilient girl. She prefers her
humans in sight and would do best in a home where someone is home most of
the time who could give her a reliable routine and positive rewards so she
can master housebreaking. Bobbie is learning from her foster sister, and a
home with a friendly dog would help her continue her education. She is has
not tried to climb or dig and is improving at navigating stairs.
Bobbie is looking for a patient and kind human while she
develops her confidence. In return, this beautiful girl will reward you with
a truly amazing personality and wonderful baroos.
If you think you could provide Bobbi with love, activity, and evening
cuddle-time, please read the data sheet below carefully, complete
the BRAT
adoption form (if you have not previously done so)
and contact BRAT coordinator,
Beth and Rod Monroe. The coordinator's link will take you to a form that will
ask you your name, email address, your city and state, why she is perfect for your family, a
typical day in your household, and, how you plan to
transport her. |
